The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed with regards to the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to sassa service the area daily. The company point created for intervention experiences a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
